The Yard
In March 2023, Silver Oak opened an outdoor site that reflects our market tradition. The Yard has five shipping containers, one is a Coffee Bar with our signature coffee, one is a seasonal bar selling frozen cocktails or mulled wine depending on the time of year and the others serve homemade pizzas, brunch, burgers, cocktails and other food and drink.
The site was nominated for and won ‘Cambridgeshire’s Best Independent Café’ in 2024. It is also in the top 10% of restaurants as defined
by Tripadvisor and is a Google Best Business. The Yard hosts the Ely Coffee Festival on the second Saturday of September each year.

The Yard Events
Known for hosting a variety of events each month, catering to different interests and tastes. These events can range from live music performances, theatre, comedy shows, open mic nights, to art exhibitions, workshops, and even themed food and drink nights.
