A blend our lovely decaffeinated beans from the smallholders of GRAPOS, Mexican and the ever popular Rio Verde from Brazil in a 50/50 ratio for reduced caffeine brew.
A harmonious balance of smooth rich flavours focussed on chocolate and nut complimented by a creamy mouthfeel and butterscotch sweetness.
This blend of beans has been carefully selected to ensure matched extraction profiles. Great for pressurised and non-pressurised brewing methods.
My espresso recipe is 18g coffee, time 26 to 30 seconds extraction (do not exceed 33s), 50g out, water between 89 and 91 deg if you can.
Sowden/Cafetiere recipe 65g/L with a 6 minute steep.
